One reason clichés are great material for memes is that they reveal things people say or think often enough that they lose their originality and impact - making them ripe for parody. The “𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧” cliché is a good example!

Frequently Asked Questions

What does “asynchronous feedback” include?

Many of my students find it valuable to receive feedback from me on their application materials in between our synchronous Zoom sessions. That’s why you’ll have the option to count as many hours as you like from your coaching package toward asynchronous feedback from me. I’ll add explanatory comments, suggestions for improvement, and minor direct edits to any essay or activity description you want me to look at. As for major editing and strategy talk – for example, completely rewriting a paragraph – I believe it’s most useful and efficient to save that for our live meetings. My turnaround time for getting back to you with feedback is around 48-72 hours, but typically sooner!

What if I need to cancel a session last minute?

I recognize that students and parents value ﬂexibility, as do I, in this fast-paced world of ours. So if you need to cancel a session – even if it’s last minute – I won’t charge you a cancellation fee. Just kindly let me know when you can’t make it, and we’ll reschedule!

How are payments processed?

Payments via this website are processed safely and securely via our Stripe portal. You may also use Zelle or Venmo, if you prefer.

What if I have unused sessions left over from a package?

I recognize that college coaching is a significant investment and am absolutely committed to helping you climb your next mountain! While all payments are final and non-refundable (excepting a force majeure), your investment remains fully flexible and usable. For starters, coaching sessions never expire, so you can schedule them literally anytime in the future that’s convenient for you. And if you’re done with your package but still have some unused sessions left, you can transfer them to a friend or family member who needs support. Finally, if by the end of a package, you feel we didn’t make the progress you were hoping for, I’ll throw in one additional coaching session at no extra cost.
